Gypsum plasterer • Monona County, Iowa

Join our team: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Monona County, Iowa. You will be based at a plastering and dry lining contractor. On a typical shift you will tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat. Requirements: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline Rotating shifts. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
