Hoist operator — Scott County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hoist operator in Scott County, Kansas. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Day-to-day duties: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Rotating shifts.
