Brickwork mason wanted in Stone County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Stone County, Missouri. You will work at a renovation and extension job. You will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
