GMAW welder wanted in Ibadan North West

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Ibadan North West, Oyo State. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Six days a week, one day off.
