Urgent requirement: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Baldwin County, Alabama. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. Requirements: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork The role involves set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure.
