Now hiring: we are hiring a panel painter in Pipestone County, Minnesota. You will be based in a car refinishing workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing You will mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust.
