Lathe programmer-operator — Garfield County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Garfield County, Colorado. You will write and edit G-code programs at the control; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; run first-off inspection and sign off the part. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
