GTAW welder • Mahoning County, Ohio

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Mahoning County, Ohio. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
