Great opportunity: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Harney County, Oregon. You will work on a busy construction site. The role involves: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment You should have: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
