MIG welder — Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG welder in Jackson County, Wisconsin. The job is at a busy production line. The role involves: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Six days a week, one day off.
