Elevator repair technician — Franklin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Franklin County, Ohio. Day to day you will mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
