Milling machinist — Atlantic County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Atlantic County, New Jersey. The job is at a busy machine shop. The role involves deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. What we are looking for: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
