Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Hale County, Texas. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. Your main tasks: • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
