Prep cook — Clay County

Join our team: we are hiring a prep cook in Clay County, Kentucky. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies You will follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; prepare the mise en place before each service; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
