Immediate opening: we are hiring a fusing press operator in West Northamptonshire, England. The role involves: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Part-time with flexible hours.
