Mining dozer operator wanted in Chippewa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Chippewa County, Michigan. You will be based at an open-cast mine. Day to day you will push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site. Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits.
