Crawler crane operator — Mercer County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Mercer County, Kentucky. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. On a typical shift you will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience.
