Foundry operative — Benton County

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Benton County, Minnesota. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. You will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
