Immediate opening: rigging foreman (Ohio)

Now hiring: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Shelby County, Ohio. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Day-to-day duties: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit Rotating shifts.
