Bar bender and fixer — Johnson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Johnson County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements The role involves: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Full-time with occasional weekends.
