Join our team: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Collin County, Texas. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day-to-day duties: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Six days a week, one day off.
