Groundsman wanted in Cowlitz County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundsman in Cowlitz County, Washington. You will work in a residential garden complex. On the job you will handle: • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
