Packaging machine operator — Bennington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Bennington County, Vermont. The job is in a textile mill. The role involves change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches. What we are looking for: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
