Site carpenter — Lamar County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site carpenter in Lamar County, Mississippi. The job is at a shopfitting company. Ideal candidate: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Own basic hand tools You will apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $170 per day plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
