Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Gloucester County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Gloucester County, Virginia. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to grind and set HSS cutters On the job you will handle: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Part-time with flexible hours. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
