Immediate opening: single needle operator (New York)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a single needle operator in Schuyler County, New York. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory The role involves trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension.
