Vertical milling machine operator — Cuming County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Cuming County, Nebraska. The job is in a die and mould making unit. On a typical shift you will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
