Great opportunity: we are hiring a head baker in Fall River County, South Dakota. You will work at a cake shop. What we are looking for: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens The role involves score the top of loaves before baking; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $16 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
