Head baker • Osborne County, Kansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a head baker in Osborne County, Kansas. You will work at a busy bakery. You will roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter. What we are looking for: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
