Rebar installer — Lawrence County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar installer in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Day-to-day duties: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
