You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine On the job you will handle: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Give each garment a final press before packing Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
