Construction labourer — Stoke-on-Trent

Now hiring: we are hiring a construction labourer in Stoke-on-Trent, England. You should have: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker The role involves: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer £95 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
