Backhoe loader operator — Elbert County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Elbert County, Georgia. You will be based in an open-cast mine. On a typical shift you will level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects. Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits.
