Construction labourer — Leon County

Now hiring: we are hiring a construction labourer in Leon County, Texas. You will be based with a civil contractor. The role involves cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction. What we are looking for: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
