Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Loup County, Nebraska. The job is on site fitting windows in new-build flats. The role involves: • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings 1+ years on the tools preferred.
