Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Nwangele, Imo State. Requirements: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Your main tasks: • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
