Crane rigger — Montgomery County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Montgomery County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness The role involves guide loads through tight openings into their final position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
