Immediate opening: sausage maker (Kentucky)

Now hiring: we are hiring a sausage maker in Barren County, Kentucky. The job is in a supermarket meat department. Your main tasks: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights You should have: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
