Flatlock machine operator — Martin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Martin County, Minnesota. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Your main tasks: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Part-time with flexible hours. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
