Overlocker operator — Sutter County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Sutter County, California. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. Day to day you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $29 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
