Tiling assistant wanted in Plaquemines Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. You should have: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites Day to day you will fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
