Now hiring: we are hiring a groundworker in Davidson County, Tennessee. The job is on a residential housing site. Day to day you will stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour. You should have: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
