Cnc lathe operator — Houghton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Houghton County, Michigan. The role involves load and index turning tools in the turret; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; write and edit G-code programs at the control; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T 2+ years on the tools preferred.
