Now hiring: we are hiring a carpenter in Adams County, Colorado. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. You should have: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Day-to-day duties: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level Full-time, day shift.
