Cnc lathe operator — Copiah County

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Copiah County, Mississippi. The job is at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Full-time with occasional weekends.
