Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel beater in Henry County, Illinois. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish Day to day you will shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $27 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
