Carpenter wanted in Aberdeenshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a carpenter in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. You will work in a bespoke joinery workshop. The role involves: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers £2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
