You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Your main tasks: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength Full-time, day shift.
