Now hiring: we are hiring a dozer operator in Hughes County, South Dakota. You will work at a land-clearing site. Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain The role involves: • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
