Core maker • Marion County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Marion County, Kansas. You will work on the moulding line. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Day to day you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
